Floor Talk July 17

At the close:

At the close, the Sept. corn futures settled 9 3/4 cents lower at $4.20 1/4, Dec corn futures finished 9 3/4 cents lower at  $4.31 1/4. 

Aug. soybean futures finished 4 1/4 cents lower at $10.14 3/4. Nov. soybean futures finished 4 1/4 cents lower at $10.06.

Sept. wheat futures closed 8 1/4 cents lower at $5.54.

Aug. soymeal futures finished $2.50 per short ton lower at $361.10. Aug. soyoil futures finished $0.32 higher at $31.78. 

In the outside markets, the Brent Crude oil market is $0.16 higher per barrel, the U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 51 points lower.

At mid-day:

At mid-day, the Sept. corn futures are trading 7 3/4 cents lower at $4.22, Dec corn futures are 7 1/4 cents lower at  $4.33. 

Aug. soybean futures are trading unchanged at $10.19. Nov. soybean futures are trading 1/2 of a cent lower at $10.10.

Sept. wheat futures are 11 1/2 cents lower at $5.50.

Aug. soymeal futures are trading $2.00 per short ton lower at $361.60. Aug. soyoil futures are trading $0.36 higher at $31.82. 

In the outside markets, the Brent Crude oil market is $0.04 lower per barrel, the U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 63 points lower.

At the open, the Sept. corn futures are trading 6 cents lower at $4.23, Dec corn futures are 7 1/4 cents lower at  $4.33. 

Aug. soybean futures are trading 5 3/4 cents lower at $10.13. Nov. soybean futures are trading 5 cents lower at $10.05.

Sept. wheat futures are 9 1/4 cents lower at $5.53.

Aug. soymeal futures are trading $2.60 per short ton lower at $361.10. Aug. soyoil futures are trading $0.04 higher at $31.50. 

In the outside markets, the Brent Crude oil market is $0.05 lower per barrel, the U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 66 points lower.

At 8:15am:

 

Early calls: Corn 4-6 cents lower, soybeans 4-5 cents lower, and wheat 4-5 cents lower.

 

Trackers:
Overnight grain, soybean markets = Trading lower.
Brent Crude Oil = $0.13 lower.
Dollar =Higher.  
Wall Street = Seen higher, with investors wanting in on the rally.

World Markets = Europe stocks were mostly lower, Asia/Pacific stocks were higher.

the last time soybeans went down, four consecutive days was 6/15/15.
