Re: Floor Talk, July 23, 2021
I haven't seen it first hand but I've heard about crops going downhill as you move west from New Ulm. I am NE of Mankato in SCMN and it's kind of scary how good things look. May not be what some want to hear but as hobby says there is good and bad every year.
Just a question of how big of an area the bad turns out to be. If we miss the rain tonight that won't help.

great example is last years big wind in Iowa......... it really tipped the scales of that theory. Suddenly the bad spots expanded in extreme ways.

Re: Floor Talk, July 23, 2021
Famous baseball player once said "it ain't over til it's over" and this year's crop hasn't quite made it to the seventh inning stretch yet.
Getting close but lots of heat coming next couple of weeks into area that is in a moisture deficient situation.
Some are getting the game called because of LACK of rain. That little wind event in Iowa last year was in the middle part of August.
It's not over yet by a long stretch... several more chapters in this year's book to yet be written...
