Floor Talk June 2, 2021

At the close:

At the close, the July corn futures settled 13 3/4¢ lower at $6.75. New crop September futures are 8 3/4¢ lower at $5.93. December corn futures finished 4 1/4¢ lower at $5.72 3/4.

July soybean futures ended 14¢ higher at $15.62 1/2. August soybean futures closed 15 1/2¢ higher at $15.16 3/4. New crop November soybean futures finished 16 3/4¢ higher at $14.13 3/4.

July wheat futures ended 6¢ lower at $6.87 1/2.


July soymeal futures closed $4.70 per short ton lower at $394.00.


July soy oil futures closed $2.99 higher at 70.38¢ per pound.

In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is +1.14 higher (+1.68%) at $68.86. The U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 17 points higher (+0.05%) at 34,549 points.

At midsession:

At midsession, the July corn futures are 17 3/4¢ lower at $6.71. New crop September futures are 13 1/2¢ lower at $5.88. December corn futures are 10¢ lower at $5.67.

July soybean futures are 4 1/2¢ higher at $15.53 1/2. August soybean futures are 5 1/2¢ higher at $15.06 3/4. New crop November soybean futures are 7¢ higher at $14.04.

July wheat futures are 7¢ lower at $6.86 1/2.

July soymeal futures are $4.20 per short ton lower at $394.50.

July soy oil futures are $2.14 higher at 69.53¢ per pound.

In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is +0.77 higher (+1.14%) at $68.49. The U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 86 points higher (+0.25%) at 34,661 points.
