Floor Talk, June 24, 2020

At the close:

 

At the close, the July corn futures finished 3/4¢ lower at $3.24 1/4. Dec. corn futures finished 3¢ lower at $3.33 3/4.

July soybean futures settled 4 1/4¢ lower at $8.70 3/4. November soybean futures ended 4¢ lower at $8.70 1/4.

Sep. wheat futures closed 5 1/4¢ lower at $4.85 1/4.

July soymeal futures ended $0.40 per short ton higher at $286.70.

 July soy oil futures closed $0.52 lower at 27.65¢ per pound.



In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is $2.60 per barrel lower at $37.77. The U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 659 points lower.

At midsession:

 

At midsession, the July corn futures are 1¢ higher at $3.26. Dec. corn futures are unchanged at $3.36 3/4.

July soybean futures are 2 1/4¢ lower at $8.72 3/4. November soybean futures are 3 3/4¢ lower at $8.70 1/4.

Sep. wheat futures are 3 3/4¢ lower at $4.87 1/4.

July soymeal futures are $0.80 per short ton higher at $287.10.

 July soy oil futures are $0.46 lower at 27.71¢ per pound.



In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is $2.37 per barrel lower at $38.00. The U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 647 points lower.

Lower again shocking..  only thing up today is new cases on COVID-19 122,000. If we just stop testing, that number will come down.
