Kind of hard to enjoy/take advantage of the "new and improved" prices when the basis has been eroiding once to twice a day here  locally. Have lost an effective 35 cents of the board price increase in the last week.

In a bit of rearview mirror wisdom, taking advantage of some historic basis bids and retaining futures ownership via a basis contract would have been a home run.

In general agree with Ray J.- the majority of BCs turn out bad but in this case if you were going to own it anyway.....

I dont see know rain out there except a few sprinkles, but I hope they get some, cause there going to need for that heat that they are going to get. Looks like over 95 for the next ten days.

What we need to hear is cooler and wetter. The rain is going to evaporate at those temps

 marketeye,, If you see green and for the most part yellow it is sprinkles.   I watched the radar when it was over head and it was about three drops. It seems like when it is hot and dry they turn there radar sensitivity up.
