Re: Floor Talk March 10 (Report Day)
gotcha.
so US has inspected 1.395 bil bu for yr --- can only inspect 11 mil more bu for 5++ months according to USDA?..and 39+ mil bu inspected on today's schedule?
forgive me, i am unable to conceptualize this........"DOES NOT COMPUTE" - maybe my brain has crashed.

Re: Floor Talk March 10 (Report Day)
Now Hobby - I know you took a short hiatus, but I did mention in one of my posts the last couple of weeks that I WOULD be selling some beans. Corn - not so much and I still stick by that, for the reasons I gave a week of so ago.
But - let's keep in mind the markets go down and the markets go up. Our next report of significance is the planting intentions on March 31. Do I think beans are a sell? Still yes - old crop, a percent of what's left, and maybe a small amount of new crop. Now we can get hit with some well placed China cancellations, and then of course the hugh new crop were going to grow, and all is well with the bean world. Beyond the scale up sales, maybe time left for a bit more vacation before getting back to work on equipment.
For corn, I'll still wait for the planting intentions and the summer weather before I pull the plug on remaining last years crop sales. As far as new sales right now, the $0.40 jump from the 4 month (Nov - Mar) average lows is not enough to get me to sell this market. I still see more upside than down. Now move along - nothing to see there on the corn chart - and enjoy yourselves the next few weeks. A hint of spring here (finally) today, but the forecasts for the 6-10 and 8-14 still suck.

Re: Floor Talk March 10 (Report Day)
The 55mb chart and report came after the usda inspection report earlier this morning.
the second inspection report came with the following subject line on the email
Subject: INTL FCStone Weekly Grain Export Inspections Report (w/ USDA revision)...........w/ USDA revision
Obviously usda needed to revise the Export inspection Report when the S&D Report was issued---- for some reason
Anybody get that message and an explanation for It?????

Re: Floor Talk March 10 (Report Day)
i apologize for speculative implication of the matter, then.
that's what i call STUPID fishy - USDA only revised exports 2 mil bu -- 55 - 39 = 16 -- whatever shell game or shananigans -- doesn't even add up (no pun intended). THE USDA balance sheet appears to be so out of the ballpark ANYWAY? It REALLY is like THE 3 STOOGES.
Where the heck is Faust when we need a good dose of??? ...............................
BUT, have to admit it reminds me of a similar feel on the stories I've read in and around JFK's body in the ER at Parkland where "particular" gov't personnel swooped in on several occasions - to "take over matters and procedures."
