Happy St. Patrick's Day! Today is all about the GREEN, right?! Let's sure hope so...
Wall Street is under some pressure as their meeting draws closer about challenging the value of the dollar. Maybe that will put through the market system.
At the close:
The May corn futures are trading 8 cents lower at $3.71 per bushel.
May soybean futures are trading 14 3/4 cents lower at $9.54 1/2.
The May wheat futures are 10 1/2 cents lower at $5.03 1/2.
The May soyoil futures are trading $0.35 lower at $30.04. The May soymeal futures are trading $6.20 per short ton lower at $317.50.
In the outside markets, the Brent crude oil market is $.53 lower per barrel to $53.42, the U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 150 points lower to 17826.
At the open:
At the open, the May corn futures are trading 2 3/4 cents lower at $3.76 1/4 per bushel.
May soybean futures are trading 5 1/4 cents lower at $9.64.
The May wheat futures are 3 1/2 cents lower at $5.10 1/2.
The May soyoil futures are trading $0.31 lower at $30.08. The May soymeal futures are trading $1.00 per short ton lower at $322.70.
In the outside markets, the Brent crude oil market is $.93 lower per barrel to $53.01, the U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 127 points lower to 17850.
At 7:45 am:
Early calls: Corn 1-3 cents lower, soybeans 2-4 cents lower, and wheat 1-3 cents lower.
Overnight grain, soybean markets = Trading slightly lower.
Brent Crude Oil = $0.54 lower to $53.41.
Dollar = Lower.
Wall Street = Seen higher, Wall Street under pressure as Fed meeting nears.
World Markets = Europe stocks were mostly lower, Asia/Pacific stocks were mostly higher.
