Floor Talk - March 19

At the close:

At the close, the May corn futures are trading 1 1/4 cents lower at $3.73 1/2 per bushel.
May soybean futures are trading 3 1/4 cents lower at $9.61 3/4.
The May wheat futures are 1 1/4 cents higher at $5.12.

The May soyoil futures are trading $0.01 lower at $30.62. The May soymeal futures are trading $1.50 per short ton lower at $319.30.

In the outside markets, the Brent crude oil market is $1.59 lower per barrel to $54.32, the U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 101 points lower to 17975.

At the open, the May corn futures are trading 1 1/4 cents lower at $3.73 1/2 per bushel.
May soybean futures are trading 1 cent lower at $9.64.
The May wheat futures are 2 1/4 cents higher at $5.13.

 

The May soyoil futures are trading $0.08 lower at $30.55. The May soymeal futures are trading $.10 per short ton higher at $320.90.

 

In the outside markets, the Brent crude oil market is $1.47 lower per barrel to $54.40, the U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 80 points lower to 17996.

Early calls: Corn 1-3 cents higher, soybeans 3-5 cents higher, and wheat 2-4 cents higher.

 

Trackers:
Overnight grain, soybean markets = Trading higher.
Brent Crude Oil = $1.27 lower to $54.64.
Dollar = Lower.
Wall Street = Seen lower, Wall Street “edgy” after rising on dovish Fed.
World Markets = Europe stocks were mostly higher, Asia/Pacific stocks were mostly higher.
