Wheat futures were higher overnight as speculators boosted net-longs in hard-red winter to the highest level since April 2014. Wheat was up about a nickel, soybeans rose 3 cents and corn gained less than a penny. In weather news, it's going to be warm, windy and dry in the southern Plains today, not much different than it's been for about a month. The dry weather, however, extends all the way into northwestern Iowa where a red flag warning is in effect.
Here's what happened overnight:
Brent Crude Oil = 0.6% lower.
West Texas Intermediate Crude Oil = 0.6% lower.
Dollar = down 0.1%.
Wall Street = U.S. stock futures lower in pre-market trading.
World Markets = Global stocks lower, following crude futures.
