Frost warnings and multiple inches of rain in most of the central corn belt.  All these poor farmers that thought it was a good idea to get started early and with the soybeans to boot.  I’m sure there’s a reason the market is down with the recent rallies, however the movement sure doesn’t reflect what is going on in your back yard.  Frost tonight and tomorrow night here with more mild temperatures and rain coming, good luck out there fellas.

It’s May 10th. Do you know where your seed is?

Corn all up

1/2 of them are up so I can see the seed. (It turned green)

Other half are in cold mud.

Should have ordered them with that parka seed coat?

Since you asked, my seed is still in the bag.

It is growing just as fast there as the neighbours that is in the ground.

Soil temp this morning is 7C at 11am

Cold wind and cloud, not going to warm much more with air temp still at 8C
