Floor Talk May 28, 2021

At midsession:

 

At midsession, the July corn futures are 7 1/2¢ lower at $6.57. New crop September futures are 9¢ lower at $5.76 1/4. December corn futures are 5 3/4¢ lower at $5.49.

July soybean futures are 8 1/2¢ lower at $15.28. August soybean futures are 6 3/4¢ lower at $14.80 3/4. New crop November soybean futures are 5¢ lower at $13.73 1/2.

July wheat futures are 8 1/2¢ lower at $6.67 1/2.

July soymeal futures are $3.20 per short ton higher at $393.50.

July soy oil futures are $1.01 lower at 65.80¢ per pound.

In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is +0.12 higher (+0.08%) at $66.93. The U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 120 points higher (+0.35%) at 34,585 points.

Definitely not trading weather concerns again today as Chicago had lows in the 30’s.  Amazing how according to the traders agenda, one day of info differs from the next.  Great growing weather, what a joke.
