At the close:

At the close, the Dec. corn futures closed 5 3/4¢ lower at $4.17 1/2. March corn futures finished 4¢ lower at $4.27 1/2.

January soybean futures ended 6 1/2¢ higher at $11.52 1/4. March soybean futures settled 7 3/4¢ higher at $11.51 3/4.

Dec. wheat futures closed 10 1/2¢ lower at $5.98.

Dec. soymeal futures closed $2.10 per short ton lower at $392.70.


Dec. soy oil futures closed 1.07 cent higher at 37.13¢ per pound.



In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is $0.14 per barrel higher (0.34%) at $41.50. The U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 83 points lower (- 0.28%) at 29,337 points.

At midsession, the Dec. corn futures are 4 1/2¢ lower at $4.18 1/2. March corn futures are 3 1/2¢ lower at $4.27 1/2.

January soybean futures are 4 1/2¢ higher at $11.50 1/4. March soybean futures are 4 3/4¢ higher at $11.48 3/4.

Dec. wheat futures are 6 1/2¢ lower at $6.02 1/2.


Dec. soymeal futures are $0.70 per short ton lower at $394.10.


Dec. soy oil futures are 0.73 cent higher at 36.79¢ per pound.



In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is $0.83 per barrel higher (2.01%) at $42.19. The U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 49 points higher (+ 0.17%) at 29,471 points.
