At the close, the December corn futures finished 1/2¢ higher at $3.67. March futures finished 1/2¢ higher at $3.78.
 
January soybean futures closed 5 1/4¢ higher at $8.83. March soybean futures finished 5¢ higher at $8.96 3/4.



 

December wheat futures closed 4 3/4¢ lower at $5.03.



 

December soymeal futures finished 1.80¢ per short ton higher at $305.70.

December soy oil futures ended 0.02 higher at 27.57¢ per pound.



 

In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is $0.45 higher, the U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 206 points lower.

USDA announces fresh sales of corn and soybeans, Wednesday.

 

Private exporters reported to the U.S. Department of Agriculture the follow activity:

--Export sales of 212,000 metric tons of corn for delivery to Mexico during the 2018/2019 marketing year; and

--Export sales of 148,000 metric tons of soybeans for delivery to unknown destinations during the 2018/2019 marketing year

The marketing year for corn and soybeans began Sept. 1.
