At the close:

 

At the close, the Dec. corn futures finished 3 1/4¢ lower at $3.66 3/4. March corn futures ended 3 1/2¢ lower at $3.77.

Jan. soybean futures settled 6 1/2¢ lower at $9.05. March soybean futures closed 5 1/4¢ lower at $9.19 1/2.

Dec. wheat futures closed 3 1/2¢ higher at $5.18 3/4.



December soymeal futures settled $2.20 per short ton lower at $299.80.

 December soy oil futures closed 0.24 cents higher at 31.20¢ per pound.



In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is $1.70 per barrel higher, the U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 152 points lower.

At 11am:

At 10am, the Dec. corn futures are 2 1/2¢ lower at $3.67. March corn futures are 2 1/2¢ lower at $3.78.

Jan. soybean futures are 1¢ higher at $9.12 1/2. March soybean futures are 1¢ higher at $9.25 1/2.

Dec. wheat futures are 1 3/4¢ higher at $5.13 3/4.



December soymeal futures are $0.60 per short ton lower at $301.40.

 December soy oil futures are 0.30 cents higher at 31.26¢ per pound.



In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is $1.04 per barrel higher, the U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 58 points lower.

According to Energy Information Agency data analyzed by the Renewable Fuels Association for the week ending Nov. 15, ethanol production scaled 3,000 barrels per day (b/d) higher or 0.3% to 1.033 million b/d—equivalent to 43.39 million gallons daily and 0.9% below the same week a year ago. The four-week average ethanol production rate lifted 0.9% to 1.020 million b/d, equivalent to an annualized rate of 15.64 billion gallons.

Conversely, ethanol stocks shrank 2.2% to 20.5 million barrels, the lowest volume since the start of 2017. Inventories were 10.0% lower than the same week last year and 6.3% below the level two years ago. Stocks declined across the East Coast (PADD 1), Midwest (PADD 2), and Gulf Coast (PADD3) but increased in other regions, according to the RFA press release Wednesday.

At the  current price trajectory about March 18th there

will be no price left to discuss, just a tipping fee to

unload.

I'm sure VR will attack me but I really think today is a great day to buy corn. Or maybe 12/1 but the symetry here is very compelling. So Illiiis ppoint, make em pay for the crime  :-)
