At the close:
At the close, the December corn futures settled 2 3/4¢ higher at $3.74. March futures ended 2 1/2¢ higher at $3.85 3/4.
January soybean futures ended 2¢ lower at $8.85 3/4. March soybean futures closed 1 3/4¢ lower at $8.98 1/4.
December wheat futures closed 1 1/2¢ lower at $5.07 1/4.
December soymeal futures settled 0.40¢ per short ton lower at $310.60. December soy oil futures closed 0.30 lower at 27.90¢ per pound.
In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is $0.28 lower, the U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 225 points higher.
At the open:
At the open, the December corn futures are 2 3/4¢ higher at $3.74. March futures are 2 1/4¢ higher at $3.85.
January soybean futures are 3¢ higher at $8.90. March soybean futures are 2 3/4¢ higher at $9.02.
December wheat futures are even at $5.08.
December soymeal futures are 2.20¢ per short ton higher at $313.20. December soy oil futures are 0.05 higher at 28.25¢ per pound.
In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is $0.72 higher, the U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 78 points higher.
Also Monday, private exporters reported to the U.S. Department of Agriculture export sales of 101,745 metric tons of corn for delivery to Mexico during the 2018/2019 marketing year.
The marketing year for corn began Sept. 1.

Grain is working higher now.
no doubt bout it.
the seasonal lows are in and over.
i think how high beans go from here is going to surprise folks.
say there's bout a $5 UP for beans by Spring of 19.
then Higher on into Summer too.
Did not think hillory was a good choice and figured trump wasn't much either except for Change.
it always Pays to vote the last scumbag Out and start over w fresh dirt every election.
granted the rest of the USA obviously does not feel as I do re elections.
the USA tends to keep the same ole scumbags in office for decades it seems.
