Floor Talk October 1
At the close:
The Dec. corn futures settled 1 cent higher at $3.88. Nov. soybean futures finished 14 3/4 cents lower at $8.77 1/4.
Dec. wheat futures ended 5 1/2 cents higher at $5.18 1/4.
Dec. soymeal futures closed $5.10 per short ton lower at $303.90. Dec. soyoil futures ended $0.02 lower at $27.32.
In the outside markets, the Brent Crude oil market is $0.04 higher per barrel, the U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 79 points lower.

China buys more U.S. soybeans Thursday.
Private exporters reported to the U.S. Department of Agriculture export sales of 120,000 metric tons of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2015/2016 marketing year.
The marketing year for soybeans began Sept. 1.

The Dec. corn futures are trading 3 1/2 cents higher at $3.91. Nov. soybean futures are trading 7 cents lower at $8.85.
Dec. wheat futures are 7 cents higher at $5.19.
Dec. soymeal futures are trading $3.20 per short ton lower at $305.80. Dec. soyoil futures are trading $0.19 higher at $27.53.
In the outside markets, the Brent Crude oil market is $1.07 higher per barrel, the U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 112 points lower.

At 9am, the Dec. corn futures are trading 1/2 of a cent lower at $3.87. Nov. soybean futures are trading 4 3/4 cents higher at $8.96.
Dec. wheat futures are 3 3/4 cents higher at $5.16.
Dec. soymeal futures are trading $1.00 per short ton lower at $308.00. Dec. soyoil futures are trading $0.65 higher at $27.99.
In the outside markets, the Brent Crude oil market is $1.14 higher per barrel, the U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 3 points higher.

At 7:30am:
On Thursday, USDA's Weekly Export Sales Report showed soybeans beat and corn at the top end of expectations.
Corn sales totaled 801,300 mt vs. the expected 600,000-900,000 mt.
USDA pegged U.S. soybean sales at 6.9 million metric tons vs. the expected 1.2-4.0 million mt
The U.S. wheat sales totaled 77,100 mt vs. the expected 250,000-500,000 mt.
The U.S. weekly soymeal sales totaled 264,000 mt vs. the expected 125,000-275,000.
