Soybeans rose overnight after the USDA surprisingly lowered its forecast for production forecast for both beans and corn, which drove prices higher. Soybeans were able to hold their gains overnight, rising 6 cents, but corn was unchanged. Wheat was higher overnight. Ethanol stockpiles jumped to the highest since March while production rebounded from a five-month low. In weather news, freeze warnings are in effect for much of eastern Iowa and southern Wisconsin this morning, and snow is expected in parts of the southern Plains starting this weekend.
