With 400-500 dollar lands rents in places, it is entirely possible that we are overpriced. The farmers reality becomes I can't sell 5 dollar corn because I will lose my shirt. the alternative is to not pay the big rent but I have to keep up to the Jones. They're paying big money and running new paint. Neither Cargill or the Brazilians or your thrifty neighbors will give a rats ass.
