Re: Floor Talk October 19

sixtysixx,  There has been some wheat planted, but it has been really wet up here. I think there will be intended acres that do not get planted......again. I have opted to not plant wheat for the third straight year.  Many of my neighbors have quit planting wheat also.

Re: Floor Talk October 19

Quite a bit of wheat planted here and what's up looks good.  We have been getting the spotty type rains wheat likes here.  Not a lot but a few tenths here and there and just enough to make soybean harvesting a long process this year.  Definitely more wheat than last year which was the wettest fall since the early 70's I think.  Some corn is coming off but most is in the low 20's moisture area.   NW Ohio on the southern shore of Lake Erie.

Re: Floor Talk October 19

Sorry I did not mean bushels produced, I guess I meant acres seeded accordingly what I have seen in Indiana and I have  heard about shortages of most popular seed varieties.
