At midsession, the Dec. corn futures are 1 1/2¢ higher at $4.17 1/2. March corn futures are 1 1/4¢ higher at $4.19 1/2.
Nov. soybean futures are 1¢ lower at $10.72 3/4. January soybean futures are 3/4¢ higher at $10.71 1/4.
Dec. wheat futures are 8¢ higher at $6.30 3/4.
Dec. soymeal futures are $0.70 per short ton lower at $381.70. Dec. soy oil futures are 0.16 cent higher at 33.85¢ per pound.
In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil market is $0.48 per barrel lower (1.18%) at $40.16. The U.S. dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 107 points (0.38%) lower at 28,256 points.
Plus, a fresh sale of U.S. corn was announced Friday.

Mike I’m amazed at how few are looking for the factors that are moving this market, but then you just can’t keep the politics out of a marketers brain.
You can read lots of fear in reactions — but few are adding up the export numbers. Just as few wanted to count the bushels lost this year to weather issues. Seems like we all want to play pretend farming like it’s a board game.
