Floor Talk October 27
At the close:
At the close, the Dec. corn futures settled 4 1/2 cents lower at $3.80. Nov. soybean futures closed 6 1/4 cents higher at $8.91 1/4.
Dec. wheat futures closed 1/4 of a cent higher at $5.09.
Dec. soymeal futures closed $2.50 per short ton higher at $304.70. Dec. soyoil futures closed $0.11 higher at $27.89.
In the outside markets, the Brent Crude oil market is $0.95 lower per barrel, the U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 64 points lower.
News: Word out of Brazil is that a new truckers strike is scheduled for Nov. 9, including all of southern Brazil and Mato Grosso. Truckers say they did not get demands met in the first strike, in February and March.

At mid-session, the Dec. corn futures are trading 2 3/4 cents lower at $3.81. Nov. soybean futures are trading 6 1/2 cents higher at $8.91 1/2.
Dec. wheat futures are trading 4 1/2 cents higher at $5.09.
Dec. soymeal futures are $4.00 per short ton higher at $306.20. Dec. soyoil futures are trading $0.17 lower at $27.61.
In the outside markets, the Brent Crude oil market is $0.90 lower per barrel, the U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 46 points lower.

Dec. wheat futures are trading 1 cent higher at $5.09.
Dec. soymeal futures are $2.50 per short ton higher at $304.60. Dec. soyoil futures are trading $0.24 higher at $28.02.
In the outside markets, the Brent Crude oil market is $0.50 lower per barrel, the U.S. dollar is higher, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 62 points lower.
