Floor Talk October 5

Corn and beans were little changed again as strong demand is keeping buyers around while harvest pressure is helping out the bears. Corn futures were down about a penny while beans were up a penny. Wheat is just hovering around the $4 mark with Chicago at $3.95 and Kansas City at $4.02 in overnight trading. Northeast Kansas and eastern Iowa look like they're in for some storms today, with the threat of severe weather in Kansas.

Here's what happened overnight:

Brent Crude Oil = 1.7% higher.
West Texas Intermediate Crude Oil = 1.6% higher.

Dollar = up 0.5%.

Wall Street = U.S. stock futures were higher in overnight trading.
World Markets = Global stocks higher on rising oil prices.
