That shouldn't be any great surprise.  What have the Kansas wheat conditions been doing lately?  Deteriorating.

So far the battleground is lining up like all the longer range forecast have said

If these longer range forecast hold we don't have enough corn or bean acres

The world is very complacent about the wheat supply at the moment.   And discouraging production.  The same (to a somewhat lesser extent) is happening to corn and soybeans.  I already feel sorry for those who will have to do without when the next shortage occurs.

Is Elwyn's track record really all that good? Radar shows promise and forecast looked good, but only maybe a .10" so far.

For what it's worth set a new record here on the farm been irrigating since 76 and started some pivots here yesterday and it's only April. Earliest before was last few days of May.
