I wonder if that expanded limit applies to a limit-down market? Just think, a market that falls a half of a dollar in one day.

                       Was planning on planting 250 acres oats, took my seed to town and rolled it for feed. No problem finding bean or corn seed as there are thousands of acres under water, road situation is not good either. Some people driving 20 miles to get 4miles away .  Chicago is optimistic, this is a grain giveaway market. Local bean crusher has been taking May beans for two weeks.

I can't imagine that the percentage of land tiled in a year would be significant, though it might be for the individual farmer that did it.

Mike you know better than that, of course the limits are equal in both directions. Lots of people make money on down days, don't they?
