Re: From the floor June 22

The good news about the big drop in grains in the last ten days is that I know longer have to worry about production.  These are still good prices, and the market is saying it doesn't need a perfect crop this year.  So that is a big load gone.

I have beans that haven't had their feet dry for more than a few hours since going in the ground.  Hoping that is the new strategy for top yields.  Remember when we talked of phantom rains on radar.  Well, tonight I have phantom dry on radar.  No precipitation on the radar, but it is raining.   Still think beans are the sleeper here.  A drop in ethanol would be an increase in soybean meal demand.  And my beans yields stunk last year with a wet June like this one.
