The good news about the big drop in grains in the last ten days is that I know longer have to worry about production. These are still good prices, and the market is saying it doesn't need a perfect crop this year. So that is a big load gone.
I have beans that haven't had their feet dry for more than a few hours since going in the ground. Hoping that is the new strategy for top yields. Remember when we talked of phantom rains on radar. Well, tonight I have phantom dry on radar. No precipitation on the radar, but it is raining. Still think beans are the sleeper here. A drop in ethanol would be an increase in soybean meal demand. And my beans yields stunk last year with a wet June like this one.
