Some of this frost was hard on Saturday while some did nothing. Guess topography matters.

I saw a couple of fields that got nipped over at my used-to-be farm today.  Bean fields.  Looked fairly isolated though from what I saw.  For the most part, I really don't think frost matters.  There are a few green beans fields out there from what I saw today.  I wanted to go out and look at one in particular but I was on the 4 lane with no close exit.  From what the agronomist over there said, those green beans were not going to make it, and most were being processed for forage in the the corn crop.  ie - load of corn, load of beans sort of thing.  Sounds like a lot of monkeying around.

Looks like the growing season ends tonight for our Canadian farmers.  It's only 1 am and there's some pretty cold temps out there tonight.

The NG contracts look better everyday.  Hopefully, some of you were able to jump on this one.  The US dollar dropped fairly big again today.  It's now at several support levels with a potential for an island bottom developing.  May be something to watch - going either way.

The stock market is on a rush to take out the old highs.  Probably will do it this week.  Doesn't look to me like we'll see the funds jumping off that ship for a bit and on to ours - even with the lower Dollar.  Possible bull flag on the charts.  Will look into how to buy this market / $$$$ I'm sure.

Corn - trading in a channel.  At a reallly good support level on the monthly chart - I still want to give this one some time.

Possible head and shoulders on the DJ 30 Ind Weekly charts.  Would predict the Dow going to 16250 in the near future - can't argue with that on right now.  Daily, Monthly charts on a big bounce higher.

Anyway, I going to bed.  Just some of the things I'm watching tonight.  Seeing what to do tomorrow.  Maybe buy some more beans....

One more thing - with those short beans out there, the fellow that bought (no - stole at my auction) my Case 1020 bean head (30') with field tracker, basically new cutiing bar system, a new sickle still in the box, and a Crary air reel system for $4200 bucks should be real happy.  He doesn't have any crops this year (PP) but could probably seel it and make a quick ten grand or so.  One of the items from the auction I'm still losing sleep over.....
