I'm guessing that this HFT graft game by CME was primarily in the Big Casino via arb between stock index futures and the stocks exchanges.
And if corn hits $3 it won't be because someone could hypotheitically skim a tick off of orders, But I still believe that matters of market integrity and regulation matter.
Since pretty much everybody was doing the three monkeys routine when corn was $7 and index funds were piling in, maybe you'll care if and when it becomes apparent that it won't be again, for a long time.
