Re: Global Warming Refresher
If the bible is your supporting document for a science discussion, then you cant be serious about the debate.

Does the Bible say anything about preserving our Earth or the heck with it, it will repair itself?
The Bible warns us of those who claim they want to save the earth when in reality they want our freedom and our worship.

NAJ: Comprehension is not your long suit is it?
That quote was from the discussion of another poster, I used it just to show what is old is new again. Not about global warming.
Just so you understand, your flailing and half truths and things out of context don't get off the ground with me. You are totally underqualified and do not have the resources to change my stance in this debate. Your name calling was uncalled for too. Lead with your best shot and have gone down hill ever since. Time to go back to your talking points and name calling ...might try thowing out "red herring issues". In the mean time I don't think you noticed but you are standing in quick sand...

Re: Global Warming Refresher
Respecting Earth isn't saving it. I do not want to save it just want to respect it, while I am a visitor. Is that too hard to understand.

HobbyLobby,
Its not name calling when its accurate in description.
Im not here to engage with People like you who are unable to change their wide stance on any scientific matter.
Especially when they post links to a cult.

Classic liberal 101, when you are losing a debate start the personal attacks.
Post something decent or go back to the cesspool (forum or back to NAT)

Re: Global Warming Refresher
What personal attacks ? I have mentioned nothing of your appearance or IQ.
Why is that your go-to response when it hasnt even happend ???
And,What is it with the right wing and their colossal failure of understanding humor ?
Is it genetic or some kind of a choice ?
I am not on NAT, are you ?
I dont think you know what decent means.

Just because someone questions man made global warming doesn't mean they don't respect the earth. They question the science and the motives behind it that says man is going to destroy the earth because they burn coal and oil that comes out of the earth.

Re: Global Warming Refresher
No that does not mean irresponsible choices are OK.
Glow in the dark corn might be marketable. 🙂
the eco system of the earth over time is the only thing that will clean up Chernobyl. All we can do is rope it off and wait. And that is all we have done.
We can screw up our own existance -------- and do with regularity over the centuries. We live in the remains of many civilations none of which have been able to destroy the "earth".
I am much more impressed with natures processes than our feeble "feel good" projects.
Even chernobyl ------- It is just the 25th aniversery of the event happening in 1986
Quote
A landmark 2005 study by the Chernobyl forum, comprised of eight specialized UN agencies and the (post-Soviet) governments of Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine found that poverty, mental health problems, alcoholism, and tobacco pose far greater threats to human beings than radiation exposure. Relocation proved “deeply traumatic” for many.
In a poetic twist, the 1,660 square miles of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone has become one of Europe’s largest wildlife preserves. Local residents report lynx, wild boar, wolves, elk, deer, brown bears, bison, badgers, foxes, eagle-owls, and evenPrzewalski’s horse, a species supposedly extinct in the wild for some time. Given that the area is now heavily wooded and free of human predators, such a flourishing of wildlife should continue. Scientists, however, are studying the area's plants and animals for long-term effects of radiation.

We talk about our worship of mother earth ------- the reality is worship of mankind.
