Re: Harvest results

no apologies,

IME -- charts usually don't lie or mis-inform.

Sooooo, what can be gleaned from the info here related to theme of thread?

edit: remember, someone clearly stated wkly & monthly soy charts are in a DOWN trend.

thanks

Re: Harvest results

Let's see front month beans started the year at 1418.75. Weekly bean chart trading now below 13, 26, 52, 100, and 200 weekly avg's.

Monthly chart trading below 3,6,12, moving avg. I read that as down trend. But each his own

Re: I can accept that!

Southern Iowa and Northern missouri should be close enough. Now, how many dogs live under your porch? lol

Re: Harvest results

ok capinegro,

Perhaps i over-simplyfy -- use trendlines for trends and MA's like balance points.

Re: Harvest results

I'm still waiting for blast off and a freeze and this 12.4 crop which is way off guess like normal. You might as well give up MT your digging a big hole.

Re: Harvest results

East central IL. Effingham county

Last year we had 5 to 20 bushels per acre corn, Soybeans made 81.3 bushel per acre

This year's corn - lowest field avg. is 221, best so far  has made 258 over the scales. Don't worry the sales people are riding in the combines, They just can not believe it.  Our county avg is 115 bu. ac.

Roling hill are way out yielding flat ground.

County avg for soybeans is 41,

So far we are avg. 58, better than expected,  There are alot of late beans & they are very short, a foot high & green

Re: Harvest results

Since when is 188 less then 182? And are you so blind you fail to see what is happening, MT? All summer all we heard was late planting wasn't going to make maturity and if it did it was going to be much below average yield. Do you not think that maybe even with the late planting the crop will be average or above? Of my late corn did that, what is the early planted corn going to do?
