Jen, How do you keep track of mr. buck's peerless prognostications?? He made some good calls, but a stopped watch is right twice a day , too.  how 'bout you take a little vacation and come help me do corn for a couple days?? cannon falls is only about 2 hours north of me (one of my daughters went to school in northfield) . sounds like you need a vacation.

Through experience I have learned never follow a chart without some economic rationale behind it.  You would be amazed how many CTAs go out of business year in and year out that simply follow a chartist strategy.

idalivered, thanks for the offer, but I have a few standing offers to go help in multiple places. My custom combining friend is down in NE doing corn, and has asked me to come there for a few weeks. And that could've been fun with his 2 twelve row combines, but it's not going to happen.

Today I'm over in Central WI picking my motorhome up after some repairs (radiator recore, alternator, fix a power steering leak, etc), and later today our Granddaughters are coming for a visit for a few days. Then it's almost time to go back to OKC.

As far as Buck goes - tell you what. I'm going to call a cease fire on my end for the next week. And we'll see how it goes. I know this is probably going to take a LOT of lip biting. But, how bad can just a week be, right? (I suspect pretty bad)

So here we go. I'm delaying at pushing the post button - I hear this voice in me saying, "Don't do it", which is what I tell my students when they're about to do something dumb.
