Re: Here we go again.........
barring weather induced price suppport, I agree with your late Feb washout
the amount of cash farmers will need to raise first 60-90 days of 2017 will keep grain flowiing and provide pressure on price
from your previous comment, it sounds like your new grain drying system is working well??

Re: Here we go again.........
Time : best guess , is you nailed the wash out - as Ray J brought up cash - I will throw in that I have heard - With dam good source - that 2 of the E plants are paying + 10 to + 20 premium for corn with Less than 1 percent vomo in it - then add a + 18 OVER basis at one plant from now to March and that could shake some bus lose here .

Re: Here we go again.........
There is a huge amount of crops already sold for the next 60-90 days. I don't seeing it weighing on the market any more than usual.

Re: Here we go again.........
looks to me that if you need $100,000 it takes more bushels of $3.25 corn than $3.75 stuff

Re: Here we go again.........
Yes, Ray, the new NECO dryer and wet storage let us finish harvest 2 weeks earlier, with one less employee, so it was a fantastic success. Unfortunately, we dried a lot of 18% corn, so its real benefits will have to be held in reserve for another year. We are very pleased with it. Thanks for asking.
