High price of fertilizer, maybe Brazil is giving us an out

Are you flummoxed by the high price of corn fertilizer, a dry Brazil may be giving us a real alternative.  New crop beans are in the $12,70-$12.80 range, & while they're not in the teens, yet, they do offer good profit compared to the price of corn minus fertilizer.  Not only that but if Brazil remains dry through to March the insurance price should provide good protection as well.

Depending on what happens in the next few weeks, I might be sending some corn seed back and let the fertilizer producers store some of that high-priced fertilizer until next year.

See that`s the thing with those "crying Fertilizer! in a crowded theater" to cause mischief in the US.  It`s a worldwide problem equally if not greater effecting our competitors.   It`s a far bigger issue than a couple of conservative libertarian brothers gouging the American farmer.

'm at least as worried about dryness as I am about high input costs. Watching La Nina as much as urea prices.
