Re: Hope the editors see this!
Things could change but it is my feeling that many of the past posters are no where to be seen. I too have visited this site for much of the past 3 to 4 years and have noticed much less posting by the most frequent posters since the change over. Like I said maybe it will just take time and they will return but I can truthfully can say I see no true advantage or need in the changes made. It would be interesting to hear from management what they really thought the advantages or improvements of the changes would provide us users.

Re: Hope the editors see this!
The old site was set up much better than ag talk or agweb. It actually combined the topic and linear view. Now I have to choose but I can twitter, post pictures easier and change my settings. Whoopee. The new site dropped to third. Go back to the old format and make it possible to twitter, post pictures and change settings for those that like to fiddle.

Re: Hope the editors see this!
I used to spend over an hour a day on the old format. Now I spend 5 minutes a day to look at the CBOT grain markets. So, I'm glad the new format is cluttered, confusing, frustrating, etc. because its more important to focus on my planting.

In linear view, how do you know who is replying to who?

Re: Hope the editors see this!
Hi aginvestorr,
In Linear view, there isn't a surefire way to see who's replying to whom.
One way is that the reply includes a copy of the post they're replying to. But, that isn't required, so it's not always available.
Otherwise, you have to see what the reply says. For example, the reply might just say the person's name from the post they're replying to.
