Why are you expecting our government to save you?

Re: How about it
There shouldn't be a disaster payment. When the gov't decided to have the taxpayers foot the bill for 62% of our crop insurance premium, we were told there would be no more disaster payments. Unfortunately for the taxpayer, there has yet to be a year where a disaster payment wasn't paid somewhere.
Your question really doesn't make much sense, but it does reinforce why we do have such a huge deficit problem. Throwing around money we do not have after saying they wouldn't when they subsidized crop insurance. After election, they'll print them dollars. It's a race to the bottom with Europe. The one thing most will find out is that no matter how much welfare the gov't throws our way it will not make anymore grass, hay, crops, etc. The huge liquidation in the livestock sector will happen no matter how much money is printed. Short term gain for long term pain is what we'll witness.

If they think grains are tough, then they ought to step up and plant a little cotton. Then come back and tell us about market volatility. It'll make you forget all about the variables you have no control over......... like weather. Tom S. South of the Mason Dixon
