Re: How's this look.....
I would be more impressed if you were growing Dr. Pepper cans in your fields......but yes, that should make decent corn if that's the way all the ears look.

Re: How's this look.....
I think that kernel is trying to pull a fast one here -- lol -- I just got back from my out of country crop tour - that corn is from Greenland ! Most of the corn over there looks great ! I put the yields at 377 bpa there . Trend for Greenland is 232 - !
The corn in Iceland - is running alittle behind - wet and cool spring - but is comeing on like gang busters - i put Iceland at 234 bpa - trend = 121 !
As far a Ireland - the southern part is in need of rain - bad but has great stands and for the most part still has a good chance to beat trend of 195 bpa .
Northern Ireland - Record CROP ! - my best guess is 223 bpa !
Norwegian crops look good - they plant 15 day corn over there - so if the can get another week in the 50's - they should have a bumper crop . = 135 bpa -- trend 25 bpa
The only poor area I toured was in the country of Iowa - -- poor farming pactices looks to be the cause - It appears that -- in the hurry to get done planting -- to play golf all summer --- they forgot to fill the planters ! No chit ! a large area in the Northern part is this way --- just shaken my head here . Anyway over all the other parts are pretty dang good - even in the southern part of podunk county = 175 to 180 bpa .
Have a good one !

Re: How's this look.....
depends a lot on standing population and uniformity throughout the field. Also depends on how it finishes. If it stays well watered and doesn't wilt away in an unexpected heatwave I would say your chances of an above average crop look pretty good.
