Re: How would you describe 2020?
What’s next?
obviously grain prices are rising because of factors unknown to farmers until the prices change direction. I still think the talking heads know we are in for 30’s style droughts and are keeping quiet.

Re: How would you describe 2020?
Dave did you have any idea how premature this question might have been?
Death of democracy.
Trashed constitution
rule by decree.
Supreme court
robbed by masked elderly.
2020 might be the end. When those who hold elected offices see it as freedom to dominate.
No rules. Or maybe it’s over. Not sure I’ve ever seen an electorate or elected so incompetent. It’s not new for biden, he has struggled to finish sentences for 25 years. But now we are electing mayors, congressmen, and college educated protestors who haven’t got a clue how government works or how a bill becomes law. It’s all about the money. So let’s finish 2020 with a big “For Sale” sign

Re: How would you describe 2020?
Funny SW....I took the results just the opposite way.
Trumps negatives were so high a record number of people actually split their ticket and voted to get rid of him, but yet voted for Repubs underneath, seats to the R's in the house, Senate maintained despite 100's of millions of lib money thrown at them, lots of statewide seats went to the R's, it was a Red Wave Underneath a Blue Ripple on Top. This is not the sign of an idiot populace, more a sign of a cry for some decency in leadership. (Yes, we all know Joe and the Harrasser are on the take but they do it with some sense of decency and decorum).
And, even to beat Trump, they had to DRASTICALLY change the election rules/procedures. Mail the ballots to the Section 8 housing apartment building and then the Building Super goes door to door and makes sure you send it mail it back, unless you want the heat to go off. Give the Dems some credit they did not let a "Crisis go to waste". No fraud involved, the GOP just got outsmarted by the pandemic. The R's get another shot in a mere 4 years.
So, for me at least, I think the election outcome is the best that we could have hoped for in this situation.
Plus, it is pretty likely that the bill will finally come due for all this monetary/debt insanity in the next 4 years. Likely will make Jimmy Carter look like a good President 🙂

Re: How would you describe 2020?
Dave, another one for you,
MEDIA BIAS.....
I was intentionally listening to NPR in the combine for the 2 weeks leading up to Nov 3. By my rough count, probably really rough as things happen in the fields of course, but rough count.....
32 negative stories about Trump, 12 positive stories about Biden, and zero positive Trump and zero negative Biden stories. This is a network that recieved MILLIONS in fed funds. I suggest that it is high time for the fairness doctrine to be implemented on gov subsidized broadcasters. They even spun a way to make the historic mid-east peace accords negative....they are not sustainable and therefor bad somehow......says who?

Re: How would you describe 2020?
Time that’s why I took the election the way I did. (And with measure of humor) I could not think of a thing he could say and not see the unhinged left do their best to live up to it. Pretty much slapstick humor for a group that hates the Midwest. They can sure slap down billions trying to buy congressional seats in places that “they” don’t even visit. In loosing causes. No greater example of how our electoral college is so brilliant— protects us from hi-population cities and the excessively rich at the same time
