I don't see airport shut down as being price positive we've got a 2 billion carryover and can ship it and that's going to weigh on our prices it's too late for the importers to stockpile ahead of Harvey now and they won't over consume in the future to make up for lack of consumption if they have to go without for a while In fact if long term demand destruction occurs and don't be long term price negative

If 2012 was the last major hurricane event down there, I hope it doesn`t prime the pump for another "2013" year for next year.  That was the year from hell around here, 13" of snow May 2, then 100 degrees and a 2 day window to plant corn before the 40 days and 40 nights of monsoons that started May 16 of that year.   But as I recall, those of us not in that line of totality were jigging around about what a wonderful year that was.

There are parts of this world that depend on that regular moisture and lets remember the drought that devastated Houston to denver in that time period..... dropping cattle numbers by 30%.  That was a difficult 12 years...... 

I was starting to think that a skim of oil on that southern "great lake" had ruined the weather patterns.... nice to see that the weather is just fine thank you!  Lets get those little events back on a regular schedule....

Then there are the twitter aggies with 90 CSR ground telling us farming the 60-70's CSR the drought didn't hurt, and tile fixed all those problems.
