I feel like MizzouTiger
Did last year. I haven't planted anything since April 17th. 5" rain since then. North of me near Sioux City, they have had over 9" and was told some people have septic tanks backing because the ground water is so high. Went yesterday to Norfolk, NE for a college visit for my son, about a hour and half trip one way. On the way home I counted exactly 6 fields total in Nebraska that had been planted along the 60 miles of highway that we traveled. There is quite a bit done on the Missouri bottom on the Iowa side but much of it has lots of water sitting on it now. Weatherman says it will be sunny most of next week, I hope he is right.

Re: I feel like MizzouTiger
Made another road trip this time to Rochester, Mn yesterday afternoon. Saw beans up right here in South Podunk Country, corn up in various locations. Only one person in a field, just a mile or so south of Rochester, spraying, White tractor with a three point sprayer,
What a shock...still some.of.US out there with less than the newest, latest, highest priced thingy, just getting r done.

Re: I feel like MizzouTiger
Around my neighborhood, there is probably less than 10% of corn planted. What is planted has been in the ground 10-11 days and has a whopping half inch sprout. Lots of rain today around here.......It's gonna be a while before any more gets planted.
