India`s wheat export ban.
It`s old news, but I got really interested in India`s wheat production. I`ll post the You Tube link on how they harvest in India, interesting as heck! They have a small combine called a Bharat about a 12 foot head about 70hp and that little thing can really go, a guy with a barge box wagon hauls the wheat off the combine and they dump it in a building.

I was thinking that`s about the size of a 3300 John Deere combine. I always say "why doesn`t John Deere make the old 4020 tractors and 4400`s combines, something simple to work on probably not high priced minus the creature comforts...well they do! They sell the good small machinery in India. The W70 John Deere is about like the old 4400
Ain`t that a sweet machine? Here`s the brochure on it!

I just might move to India and be a wheat farmer 😀

Re: India`s wheat export ban.
seriously BA? We hear from time to time that Deere should offer the 4020 tractor and 4400 combine, or maybe even the 95s. How many do you think they would actually sell? Seriously I know where there are some 95s. The old man passed away recently. I can try to find out if they might be available to buy. He had newer tractors though. Can’t say exactly but I think 30 or maybe some 40 series. I have a landlord who wants to harvest the wheat on his farm. Usually about 60 acres a year He’s constantly buying and selling combines. Usually old gleaners but did have a Deere for a year or two. Think it was a 7700 but not sure. I don’t think many older farmers would really want to give up the creature comforts or technology, and younger people would not last long without that stuff either. Harvesters can hardly find help now. What would it be like trying to find drivers for a dozen 510 Masseys and Chevy C-70 trucks that vapor locked every trip to town?

Re: India`s wheat export ban.
The convenient wait of several hours for a tech to $how up to remedy the planter monitor , then stopping at the truck dealership to un-ravel , a TOP $ECERT , check engine light code , while in route to the grain dump = = =
Looking at the scarcity & price$ of pre-screen -monitor iron , semi trucks & farm implements , might be a reminder of indication = IF , Time = $$$$$ , $hop time = LOT$ OF $$$$$ = maybe = ?

Re: India`s wheat export ban.
No Clayton I`m not really moving to India and raise wheat 🙂 But, I would love to work for them one day for free if they`d let me run one of those cute little combines for a couple hours.
I never thought John Deere made a machine that small like the W70, I always thought they only had those off brand machines. Seed companies have those tiny combines that I guess are terribly expensive. Some seed companies have something like a Gleaner F combine .... everyone should have one and I`ve already had mine 🙂

Re: India`s wheat export ban.
At least they realized that no one would buy it if they stupidly put the engine beside the operator.

BA, you want a "golden oldie"?
I know where a Massey fan can get a working when it was parked in a machine shed 410.
Serial # I think is about 192, corn head is on it. Tires are up.

Re: India`s wheat export ban.
India has imposed a ban on wheat exports due to rising domestic prices, this will help maintain control over the domestic market against the background of a jump in world prices. Moreover in general, hard times have come worldwide. My father has all his trucks just stopped on borderlines in Europe, although everything is fine with the documents, I know this for sure because all his documents are stored and created at https://supercmr.com/. Btw, a great website that helps both businesses and logicians with drawing the papers and signing them online. So, not only India that has lots of trouble.
