Re: Influenza statistics, just saying.

There was a guy that manufactured hog feed premix in his garage and peddled it to the Bohemians, he called himself a "self taught nutritionist" ..maybe his hog feed was as good as Hubbard and Moormans.   But he was quite the salesman, also sold "fish from up in Minnesota" he picked it up in Austin Minnesota, so I guess technically he did get the fish in Minnesota.

Re: Influenza statistics, just saying.

Rick, the CDC estimates 12,000 to 60,000 flu deaths per year in the U.S since 2010. That comes directly from the CDC website. Covid-19 has probably been here longer than most people think. It doesn't take much, one infected person gets off a flight from China and.... you get the picture. We have some natural immunity to the flu not counting vaccinations and we still have more flu related deaths this season than Covid-19 to date.

My county just recorded it's first death from Covid-19 yesterday. We have around 50 positive cases if you count the local prison population. The thing is, unless you are on death's doorstep you won't get tested at the local hospitals. They just tell you to self isolate for 2 weeks. Since they are not testing those who are mildly sick, they certainly are not going to test the nearly 50% that never have symptoms. The true mortality rate for this illness is probably less than 1%. Most people have a higher probability of dying in a car wreck on their way to work than dying from "the 19."
