Inputs and planting date apparently don`t matter
Yellow, waist high corn planted June 5th still puts on a 18x45 ear that`s a week away from blacklayer. USDA is right and low if anything on yield. Okay i`m joking ...a little, but it does seem like if you can get DeKalb in the ground, it`ll throw a good ear regardless of how crappy the stalks look from the road. Why bust your butt planting in April and throwing the holy grail of inputs on it when it just doesn`t matter? But this is the internet where everyone`s awesome.
