Is Chairman Powell doing us a favor?
No one likes paying more interest or watching their 401K lose value, however the market was getting frothy and before the correction equities were on trajectory to go parabolic, which is never good. Powell has to just realize the difference in tapping brakes and mashing the peddle to the floorboard with his size 12`s.
Maybe shaking equity money lose will ultimately end up in commodities? Not saying $12 beans or $5 corn or anything, but a little more liquidity in those markets. But with -$2 gas, how with that support the ethanol/corn market. That`s another thing $3 gas good, below $2 gas bad for farmers. But it does seem like somehow $3 corn supports $250 seedcorn prices
Re: Is Chairman Powell doing us a favor?
The Dow and other indexes were out performing the economy. Inflation is nowhere to be found....well, on things the farmer does not buy, anyway.
