I asked the original question on basis levels and where to from here. Just trying to get some info from those of you who know the rest of the story.
If we strictly talk about old corn....yes, much the same as 1996 when you compare old and new price. What isn't the same is the real possibility of another short year in the supply of corn. I'm guessing we will be seeing a much lower basis and a much higher CBOT price......if the weather doesn't help our corn.
