Re: Is there something about this year
Granted I live in North Central North Dakota, but: At 7:00 pm it was 38 degrees. There is still snow in some shelterbelts. Still frost in ground. So wet I will not get started seeding until mid-may, but wait, another 3 day storm system is supposed to dump 1.5 to 2 inches of rain. 30% of winter wheat is drowned out, but the rest is still dormant and don't know if it's dead or not. Could go on, but not sure if this is what you mean.

Re: Is there something about this year
northnd, yes, this is the kind of answer I am asking for. Weather seems to be way out of wak for anything we call norm. Commodities seem to be extremely tight with marketers just play hard ball with whatever crap they can shov down ones throat. I am a cool season grass seed producer, and the buyers are just as rediculous as ever.I suspect they are right to a margine of weather just has not been favorable.Oh well there is a fall comming up!

Here's to planting in June!! Mud it in?
Doesn't matter if I could get it in, it likely wouldn't germinate

13,700,000,000 bu of corn on top of 1,350,000,000 bu left over corn makes quite a peak. 😉
