JR, the media doesn't just go after Ethanol, now it is milk

Makes a strong case why you should listen to Secy Vilsack when he says ag groups should not attack each other and debate their differences privately. Jr, the same ones after Ethanol are after pig confinements and milk and gmo crops and more and more regulations for the farm. and on and on.

Re: JR, the media doesn't just go after Ethanol, now it is milk
My belief is AG groups should be totally open and use factual information to reply to ideological attacks, instead of responding in kind, as both individual farmers and AG organization often do. I get very discouraged when farmers don't understand or use their own history. Leadership often get side tracked on the emotional and political and don't explain the facts and history. That's a trap. Use every opportunity and explain. You might not change a fanatic's mind but you'll affect the audience who may be ignorant of the reality.

Jec22, I've made the case to JR and others on here before that united we stand and divided we fall, but it falls on deaf ears. Its a very short-sighted point of view, IMHO.

We lack a good well lead ag group in this country.
I'm not a fan of any of them I lost the faith of one last winter when they had their convention in Hawaii
