Kansas Precipitation
Eastern Kansas has been receiving nice rain all day. To bad we can't move that 300-400 miles west where it could really do some good. Rain in the Central Kansas forecast thru Wednesday, stay confident until proven otherwise.

Re: Kansas Precipitation
Amen Shaggy, I wish I could give you some of this Iowa rain. I know this is not in our power to do so, not even our president can, but if we could "spread the rain around" we could probably grow a 16 or 17 billion bu corn crop?

Re: Kansas Precipitation
I hope your right CX1, I would love to receive that 2", but I bet SW could use that 1" even worse. He is significantly further behind on precip than we are, but on second thought just send us both 3".

Re: Kansas Precipitation
It wasn't quite the 3" I was hoping for, but we received .43" last night. We've got it forecasted for the next few days so maybe we can add to that amount.
FWIW, I have been recording all the moisture we've received where we live since we drilled our HRW wheat last fall. Beginning on Oct. 13, 2012 thru June 16, 2013 we have received 11.36" total moisture. The largest single event was Feb. 21, 2013 when we received 20" of snow that contained 1.80" moisture.
