KochTrump rolls farmers

as the details of the so-called ethanol fix come up considerably short.

Similar, I guess to the tweet about yuuge Chinese purchases which was exactly the same wording about what was issued about Mexico four months ago- just substitute China for Mexico.

For heavens sakes, even if you don't mean it, the next time a TV reporter wanders out in your field to ask you if you're sticking the course, don't tell them you are.

It just makes farmers look stupid, which will be a problem somewhere down the road. I don't think the taxpayer is going to go along forever giving out $Bs as a special education pity project.

Don't be surprised if the multi-generational cycle of government dependency is broken- farmers freed from the government plantation.

You really believe tat about Kock?

Two edged sword if it is.

They own e plants, been my best market most of the year.

The one in Camilla Georgia has three dedicated unit trains hauling corn out of the corn belt down there.

Here is a link to them.

Btw, harvest is ramping up here, lost 35¢ in basis since Yesterday @7:45am

Re: KochTrump rolls farmers

Not as long as there`s a cheap food policy.  If prices go up a couple years (2011, 2012) we get to feeling our oats and want the government out, but we buy $1,000 fertilizer and $350 seed and over produce, then we have to ask Uncle for a bridge loan to get over the rough patch.

Re: Some people just have to learn the hard way.

No use getting upset about "stupid" farmers, some people just have to learn the hard way.  But you have to admit, farmers have given the Democrats the perfect excuse to cut farm programs, " they didn't fight with us at Normandy."

Re: Some people just have to learn the hard way.

I hear Klobachar had a good night last night there`s a grain merchandiser gal that supports her and a seed dealer likes Pete Butigreg...so if darkness does overcome the light November 2020, perhaps us woke farmers can ride on their coattails to the party?   Andrew Ying Yang wants to put us all on a government check each month and they tell me he`s a math whiz so, Yang 2020!  His slogan should be "I`ll put some bang in your ying yang!"   🙂

Re: Some people just have to learn the hard way.

Simple fact. The two Koch swamp creature lobbyists were put in place at EPA to do the bidding of the fossil fuel industry.

They've already been richly rewarded but will be even more so once they head out the revolving door.

That's a more commonplace variant of wingnut welfare- where political operatives know that if they lose or are in a lull they can get a "job" at one of the Koch front groups like ALEC, Americans for Prosperity, Freedom Partners.

Just some interesting side business.

Pruitt now works for coal magnate Joseph Craft III, a $M Trump donor and his wife Kelli is our Ambassador to the UN.

Nothing swampy going on here, move along.

Just one of the 286 former lobbyists who are or have been employed by this administration.

The sad thing is that Big Ag is a dues paying member of The Blob but is treated as little brother. Not that Big Ag really cares about farmers, as long as they're able to keep paying the vendor credit for overpriced inputs at the company store.
