I was sick last night and sat up watching the debate 3 times on on three different promotion channels, comments and all.

Every time I saw it-------------it was just more petty and small.

I have asthma, occasionally I stay in a chair at night trying to help my lungs catch up.  Farming , not the best career for a "wheezer".

A couple of years ago I was up late and turned over to catch a news conference from Korea or Tokyo or wherever the G something conference was being held that year.  You know that contest where we get our butts kicked in the business world on a regular basis.

Our "president" had spoken that day and was giving a press conference following.

I watched as the Far East press grilled him.  It was embarrassing how poorly he handled himself.  Not one correspondent let him get by with an evasive answer.  Some questions were asked three times, demanding that he answer the details of the question asked.  Questions dealt with the specifics of his speech and details of our trade in the area.  I learned how little he knew about the subject and more than that,  how little respect he had outside this country.   Without the cushion of the US press corp he was lost.

The US press was there and nothing from the meeting made the press in this country.  Other than the 3 am broadcast from either BBC or Bloomberg.

Cx1, at least for the next few days, politics has everything to do with marketing.  Tell me, since we are in an epic shortage of commodities that has seldom been equaled, has politics by diluting the currency to extreme, raised the price of commodities or effectively held the real cost low?   I have lost my fondness for charting.  The principles are there but the value distortions of currency manipulation puts doubt on historical comparison.  I think they are screwin up my charts and my value reference.

The least he can do is act like a world leader instead of a political hack.

first thing that strikes me about your observations of obama out of country, IMO there's little display of respect period, emanating from it. I hesitate to use the pronoun b/c i've done much study in the spiritual arena - some christianity. there exists a different kind, if you will, interspersed among us. i'm not trying to be vague, this is an open forum, so i hesitate to be too blunt. I'll just allude to an old Doobie Bros song,  to the lyrics, " we're would you be without love". we all might be bearing witness to this. Last night, all I saw, sensed from the look as it appeared to listen to Romney was hate and disdain. ALL i've ever been able to seen after i was able to see the truth after the first few campaign speechs, is complete utter narcissism/succint self centeredness. I feel sorry for his children the most!!!

 it speaks well, as Romney pointed out...so well sometimes i've named  Houdini because of the mastery of illusion, LIES with complete lack of conscience ARE the most convincing to the avg-attentive. The experts say this it what they do best. Don't get me started...none of us are perfect, we're human (most). i'll simply end w/ my belief that coincidences mostly have a grander design - the namesake it asasinated - it's proudest achievement...I  I   I   I   I   I  I...IT KNOW NOT WHAT A team or group is.  What's confounded me the most/saddened as well is how much support from so called educated persons. hate to say this but i got to end - I wouldn't doubt if the ACTUAL primary objective here is to weaken/disarm/dismantle as much as America is/was/stands for as possible.

on price, if you consider every other product or commodity last 40 yrs, food is probably STILL least expensive. think it more accurate comparison than with currency.
