yet, When one spends time on his comments and cares about them, it is hard to ignore.

Sandpaper-----maybe------but the few times I have felt it were times when you seemed to say that I hadn't thought my comment through well, and your challenge spured thought.---------Several on here do that while expressing differing perspectives and as long as there is a "perspective" expressed, I am not offended, just challenged.----------------------and grateful.---------------------otherwise I am stuck with my limited "perspective".

Markets are not simple and most of us are too close to our marketing to be able to see the whole picture.

MT  don't give it up man you have more friends here than you know. So what two idiots wanna  bully thier ideas on everyone I just ignore them. your ideas have helped me more than you'll ever know just to relax slowdown and keep my head together on marketing....... I'm prolly bigger bull than you I'm still mostly unpriced on nearly all of old-crop..... just don't see downside being anywhere near as big as potential up-side at this moment. Not because of you but because that's the way I've operated for 25 years and has worked well so far  I own everything and can afford to take that risk. My dad always told me to invest in myself and not be afraid of risk    no risk no reward. sometimes just need another opinion to rationalize with and that has been you everyday for a year or better.

I think that you should keep posting Tiger, your "hammer" method of marketing has make those who will listen more money than those that charge hundreds of dollars for their services.  Do not let the very vocal negative few win.  In marketing a person is graded on a curve, there`s going to be only a few A`s  and alot of F`s.  It is the job of those the buy grain to make you think that what you have to sell (corn) is plum worthless and in 6 months you will have to pay them to take it off your hands "95 million acres no no 100 million acres!!!"   "I`m just saying in the fall don`t be surprised if there`s a 2 in front of the price!!"  Baloney! if they really believed that, they would encourage you to keep it until fall and take 2 years worth off your hands then.  Then there are those that sold tooo soon and don`t want to be the only one, they can get very testy if they sold for $5 and the price is $6 and a Bull is calling for prices going to $7.  See, those Bears believed some deflation newsletter or some grain merchandiser advice blog or who knows what.  They thought that they would be the hero of the coop delivering $5 corn while the rest of the "losers" were bringing in $3 corn.  Well they are testy, because guess whose going to be buying the $9400 land and paying $400 rents?  A perma-Bull that states his case isn`t going to help their disposition any.

You have got to be kidding me!  I have come on here for nine years and you accuse me of having an alter ego.  This is from a guy that showed up 12-20-11.  Let you mind think about that for awhile.  MT can come here all he wants,  all I ask is his facts be truthful.  BTW, MT week one according to the USDA the marketing year starts sept 1.  Jan 5 is week 19.

I've seen this before on other sites. If MT wants to leave ...so be it.

I've visited this site for months before I joined in, I thought MT brought a good

point of view to the discussion. This marketing site did not appear to me to just

have one, one trick pony. Grow a callis and get on with it. For those that want to

post one liners and snipe and call names ...go to the BASH board.

Now there is a great test to see if any one person is irreplaceable...place a container of water infront of the person, have them place a finger in the water at least two inches deep in it. hold it there at least 10 seconds. Then they can remove their finger from the water. If there remains the hole in the water their finger made, they are irreplaceable, other wise well...

On the bright side when your finger first comes out of the water (ice) you will be deemed irreplaceable.
